Children’s Music Ministry

We are committed to the development of our children's awareness of faith.

Saint Michael Lutheran Church is committed to the development of our children’s awareness of faith – a life-giving relationship with God, family, church, the world and one’s self – and of God’s love for them and all creation. It is our intent to create lifelong worship participants of our children.

At Saint Michael Lutheran Church, we provide many opportunities for children to get involved with their talents:

Blessed Beginnings

Blessed Beginnings is is a faith-based program of music and movement for adults and children from pregnancy – birth – 18 months. During this class families bounce, rock, dance and play instruments! This is a great and therapeutic way to interact with your child and with other families.

You can attend the Blessed Beginnings classes on Sundays from 9:45 – 10:15 a.m.

God’s Children Sing

This is a faith-based music program for children 18 months old through preschool. Classes for children and parents include singing, storytelling, playing instruments, dance, games and group play. Our goal is to draw the entire family into the faith experience. There are Toddler classes for children 18 months – 2 1/2 years and Preschool classes for 3 – 5 year olds.

  • God’s Children Sing Toddler (18 months – 2 1/2 years) meets on Sundays from 9:45-10:15 a.m.
  • God’s Children Sing Preschool (3-5 year olds) meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Children’s Choir (K-5th Grade)

Children’s Choir is offered to all elementary children on Wednesdays from 6:40 – 7:20 p.m. or Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:10 p.m. Choose the time that works best for your family. Our choir curriculum focuses on singing, steady beat, playing instruments, and learning basic music reading skills.
