Robin High is the Organist/Pianist at Saint Michael. As keyboardist, he leads the singing of the liturgy and hymns as well as prepares preludes, offertories, and postludes for the worship services each weekend. He also accompanies the adult and children choirs and collaborates with other vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles for musical offerings as the opportunities arise.
He received a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. He also received MBA and MA degrees with a concentration in Statistics from the University of Texas-Austin and is currently a Biostatistician at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. His previous positions include Assistant Organist at the Presbyterian Church of the Cross in Omaha, as well as organist/pianist for Lutheran churches in Eugene, OR and Austin, Tx. In his free time, he likes to read, attend theater and music concerts, and regularly visits the Pacific Northwest each summer for outdoor hiking adventures.
