Pastor Tim Koester
Senior Pastor
Earning his Masters of Divinity at Wartburg Theological seminary in 2009, Pastor Tim Koester served nearly seven years in Bloomfield, Nebraska, before being called as senior pastor at Saint Michael. Prior to life as a pastor, he farmed with his family near Deshler, Nebraska, managed a seed business, and served the church as a Youth Ministry Coordinator and Parish Ministry Associate. At the University of Nebraska, he studied vocal music, played in the Cornhusker Marching Band, and graduated with degrees in Agricultural Honors and Agronomy. His wife Shelli is a veteran educator and school counselor. They have two grown children, Kayleigh and Callen, of whom they are very proud! Pastor Tim still enjoys getting his hands dirty with gardening, working with wood and metal, and fixing things most people throw away.
