Saint Michael Lutheran Church Endowment
Saint Michael Lutheran Church (SMLC) accepts grant applications for local, regional, national, and international projects that fit within the mission and ministry of this congregation. We are a “welcoming community of faith, inspired by joyful worship, to grow in selfless service as we share the good news of Jesus Christ”. As a congregation of the Nebraska Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, you can find the story of our congregation and a statement of belief here.
Requests for grant awards are evaluated by a team appointed by the church council. Applications are due by October 30 of each year and awards will usually be announced within 30 days.
To apply for an endowment grant:
- Download the Endowment Grant PDF form OR complete the online form here.
- Complete the form and provide as much information as possible to aid in our evaluation.
- Send the completed form and any additional documents to us with a postmark no later than October 30 of each year: SMLC Endowment Committee, 13232 Blondo St., Omaha, NE 68164. You can also send the document via email to endowment@saintmichaellutheran.org.
