Sunday School
Welcome to Sunday School at Saint Michael! We’re so glad you’re here.
The Children’s Ministry team, including our dedicated volunteers, has thoughtfully prepared both the curriculum and classrooms to nurture spiritual growth, foster learning about the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and build a special faith community among peers.
Our base curriculum is Godly Play, a beautiful and unique approach that invites children into the wonder of God’s story through engaging storytelling, hands-on materials, and quiet reflection. Children are already deeply connected to God; our role is to support their understanding of who He is, how He is present with them, and how their own stories fit into God’s greater story.
The ministry is committed to partnering with families to nurture children’s faith in ways that are developmentally appropriate, spiritually rich, and deeply rooted in God’s love. We create space for children to grow in their understanding of God, explore the stories of Scripture, and enjoy time together building lasting friendships that will encourage and support them throughout their years at Saint Michael.
The spiritual formation of each child—and their understanding of who God is—begins at home, and the church is here to walk alongside families on that journey. A family’s presence and faith commitment in bringing children to church and Sunday School are among the most powerful influences in their spiritual lives.
