Vicar Callie Arendt

Pastoral Intern

Vicar Callie is currently a student at Wartburg Theological Seminary and is serving her pastoral internship year at Saint Michael. She attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate, where she majored in Communication and minored in Social Work.

Vicar Callie spent many summers working for Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center in Oregon, IL. She enjoys reading, camping, kayaking, and helping coach the Freeport, IL high school speech team. She is a social introvert; she loves spending time with others, but still needs alone time to be fully energized. Vicar Callie values intentional community building and is always happy to get to know someone over a cup of tea.
