New Member Orientation

Whether you come from a Lutheran or non-Lutheran background, all individuals interested in membership at Saint Michael are asked to be a part of our “New Member Class/Orientation.” These are normally four consecutive sessions which are held on Sunday afternoon following the last service. We provide lunch for you each Sunday, childcare if needed, and then spend some time getting to know one another, learning about the life and activity of Saint Michael Lutheran Church, and briefly reviewing some basic Lutheran concepts. These sessions are an important step in involving oneself in the life of the congregation.

New member class/orientation sessions are normally held in the fall, mid-winter, and late spring. Call the Church Office (402-493-2871) if you have any questions or are interested in being part of the next membership group.

In the meantime, you don’t have to be a member to worship, to share in the sacrament, or to serve or participate in any ministry or activity of Saint Michael. Jump right in! We look forward to getting to know you!
