Surrounded by water, trees, and rolling hills, Camp Firelight is the perfect location for every Camper’s favorite summer activities! During each session, Campers join first-time camp counselors Sam and Lu (short for Lumen) and learn to face their fears while trusting in God. Each day, Campers see Counselor Sam face new challenges, from as simple as leading Campers on a hike to as intimidating as meeting a new and wise nature expert. With the help of Lu the Lightning Bug and the Camp Counselor Guidebook, Counselor Sam and our Campers explore timeless Bible stories that show how Old and New Testament Campers trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name.

Our Vacation Bible School theme is Camp Firelight – A Summer Camp Adventure with God, Psalm 56:3.
Vacation Bible School will be Sunday, June 2 to Thursday, June 6 from 6-8:15pm. VBS is open to everyone, so invite your friends and family that have children ages 3 years old (fully potty trained) to current 5th graders. You can mail your registration back to the church or drop it off.
Registrations are due by 11:45a on Sunday, May 19, 2024. This is a hard deadline and we will not be taking any registrations after this date. One of the program directors will be at the church to receive registrations that have not yet been turned in prior to the morning of May 19.
When we get the t-shirts back from the company, we will let you know when you will be able to pick up your shirts!
For pick-up this year, we will do the same as last year where you walk to the doors marked Sanctuary where one of the directors will meet you at those doors to get your children. You will let the directors know who you are there to pick up and they will radio in to have them come out to meet you. This helps traffic flow in the parking lot.
We will be having a diaper drive this year. We will give the diapers to local charities.
